For myself, I like a universe that includes much that is unknown and, at the same time, much that is knowable. A universe in which everything is known would be static and dull, as boring as the heaven of some weak-minded theologians. A universe that is unknowable is no fit place for a thinking being. Here, in above quote, the writer wanted to express the dialectical (dual) nature of Universe, it seems. Its indeed a nice approach to understand Nature's dynamics.
ఈ విశాల విశ్వంలో ప్రతిదీ నిరంతరం చలనంలో, మార్పులకు గురవుతూ పురోగమిస్తుందనేది రూఢీయైన సత్యమే. విశ్వం అనంతమైనది, మార్పులూ అనంతమైనవే. మనిషి (కేవలం మనిషి మాత్రమే) తన ఆలోచనా సామర్థ్యం కల్గిన మెదడుతో తనకు సాధ్యమైనంత మేర ఈ విశాల విశ్వ రహస్యాలను శోధిస్తూ, విజయం సాధిస్తూ పురోగమిస్తున్నాడు. ఇది కూడా అనంతమైన ప్రస్థానమే. విశ్వం తాలూకు చిక్కుముడులను, గుట్టుమట్లను ఒడుపుగా విప్పి చెప్పి మానవజాతికి దిశానిర్దేశం చేసిన మహానుభావులెందరో. వాళ్లే చరిత్రలో చిరంజీవులై, మనుషుల్లో మహనీయులుగా వెలుగొందుతున్నారు. ఒకటి మాత్రం నిజం. విశ్వం అనంతమైనదే, మార్పులూ అనంతమైనవే, అలాగే మానవుని సత్యశోధనా అనంతమైందే. ఇవాళ తెలియని, అంతుచిక్కని విషయాలు, ఈ రోజు కాకపోతే, రేపైనా మానవ మేధస్సుకు దాసోహమవుతాయి, సలాం చేస్తాయి. అప్పటికి ‘మార్పు’ అనే సహజ నియమం కారణంగా, భవిష్యత్తులో మరిన్ని ఉన్నతమైన తెలియని, అంతుచిక్కని విషయాలు ఎలాగూ మనిషికి సవాల్ విసురుతూనే ఉంటాయి. మనిషి సైతం ప్రకృతి సవాళ్లను నిరంతరాయంగా స్వీకరిస్తూనే ముందుకెళతాడు. ఈ అనంత ప్రస్థానం నిర్విరామంగా కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంటుంది. అర్థం కాని, అంతుచిక్కని దృగ్విషయాల అంతు చూడడమే మనిషి నైజం అనుకుంటాను నేను. ఆ అద్భుత నైజమే మనిషికి ఈ ప్రకృతిలో కాస్తో కూస్తో పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతుల్ని తెచ్చిపెట్టింది కాబోలు. అర్థం కాకపోవడంలో అందం(?) ఉంటే, అర్థం చేసుకోవడం అద్వితీయ ఆనందం ఉందంటాను నేను. అందమా? ఆనందమా? రెండు కావాలంటే మాత్రం వాటి మధ్య శత్రు వైరుధ్యం ఉంది. ఇప్పుడెలా, రెడ్డి?? :-)
