Deleteఅన్ని రంగాల లాగే, వ్యవసాయం లో మార్పులు అనివార్యం. సుస్థిర అభివృద్ధి అనేది కాలానికి అనుగుణంగా మార్పు ఉంటేనే సాధ్యం. కాని స్థిరంగా ఉంటె కాదు కదా!!

రైతులు వ్యవసాయం మిద మాత్రమె ఆదారపడి బ్రతికే రోజులు కాదు కదా?? చిన్న రైతులు "కూలి, ఉపాది పనులతో ఉంటె, కొంత పెద్ద రైతులు లోకల్ రాజకీయాలు, వ్యాపారాలు, కమిషన్ పనులతో బిజీ గా ఉంటున్నారు. అందుకని వారికి అత్యంత అబువుగా ఉండే పద్దతుల కోసం చూస్తున్నారు. అది రసాయనమా, మరేదోనా కాదు.

Jared Diamond opined that there was a choice "to choose between limiting population or trying to increase food production".But, I don't think man in those could think in terms of population growth and the need to limit it. The choice was between hunting-gathering nomadic lifestyle and agriculture based food production. The first option meant possibly more hard work, particularly for menfolk. Choosing the second lazier option led to all the problems we are facing now.
